Just the Start

Wow… It’s day 3 in ATDP 2007 and so much stuff has happened already.

On Monday, I paid a visit to TIC ‘07 and got to meet some of the new people. Afterward, lunch with the TIC 06’ers and TAs…

On Tuesday, lunch with Sarah, Janvi and Alex C., then Building Next-Gen Web Applications (which, expectedly, got off to a slow start), then Ben & Jerry’s afterward.

Today, paid another visit to TIC ‘07 and had lunch (consisting of air and one soda) with those people again ( ;D ), and then went to Jupiter to join some Albany friends for lunch (pizza and expensive Orangina).

With all that’s been going on, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me as the summer progresses.

Tomorrow’s gonna feel strange, with no ATDP…

Been far away for far too long…

Walking A Long Road

Today, at 11:50PM, my life as a sophomore ended. As of that time, I have also entered the most important year of my life in high school. As I walked home, alone (for one), I looked down the long, perfectly linear road to my street, and I thought, “I’m walking toward the summer, toward ATDP, toward people that really mean something to me, toward the rest of my life.”

Another chapter has closed behind me and I realize…

I can’t afford to screw up anymore.

This is the first complicated array of closed doors, contents hidden, into the labyrinth of life. Best to start choosing now.

TIC Reunion!

Whooosh. Yesterday was fun! :O

Student Union -> Copy Central -> Ned’s -> Crepes A-Go-Go -> Tolman -> La Val’s -> Tolman -> La Val’s (I think…) -> Regal Theatres (Knocked Up) -> Home.

There was a small confusion about ARC’s “course reader”…. hahahaha… Turns out we didn’t even need a book. :O

Omgah it was so nice seeing everyone again… Sarah, Janvi, Chungster, Alex, Lamquake, Kass, Spark, Quad, Lloyd, Sara, etc etc etc etcetcetcetc. It’s hard to believe nearly 1 year has passed since we last saw each other. Yesterday was about leaving school, finals, and all that stress behind where we came from, and taking the time instead to talk with friends and catch up on life.

It bugs me that this might be my last time attending ATDP if my junior-senior summer isn’t occupied with a job or whatever. I’ve gone to ATDP for about 5 or 6 years now…

I guess what I liked most was being around these people, more than the stuff we actually did. I felt some kind of deeper happiness talking and laughing with them after so long.

Yeh and I still have to fix my banner.
