I was really below par.
Kind of wish I could've justified the hundreds of gold spent on me. Now I feel I have to do something extra to pay everyone back for their generosity.
(It was the blue bracers I swear!)
Hadoken.
I’m dozing off in a moderately heated swimming pool, steam billowing up to meet a torrent of snow fighting back from above, and slow, tropical-island-type music playing from nearby.
But it’s a nice feeling.
Now a proud member of slashdance.
Fighting stereotypes is never easy. I suggest some of you out there try it sometime.
The title pretty much sums it up. What it refers to is up to you.

I get picked for the Virgle expedition. :D

Wow I haven’t written here for a long time.
Highlights of the recent months:
- SAT
- SAT
- SAT
- TIC gatherings
- EVE Online - rediscovered
- finals at school
- SAT
Yeah. I think half of any teenager’s problems would be solved if the College Board didn’t exist. Getting ready (and then taking the SAT) has been a pain in the behind. I want to be done with it but if my scores aren’t high enough for my parents I’ll have to go through it all again. >_> It makes me wonder, why can’t they judge college readiness from standardized testing that we do in school every year anyways? Why does some board of fat old people force high schoolers to take tests that are the same in essence (but cost money instead of school hours) to tell if those high schoolers are ready for the next step? I heard my test proctor say that the SAT is a measure of whether or not the test taker is ready for college. So isn’t that a black-and-white deal? Ready, or not ready. Yet the people who score low (not ready?) still go to college. I’m not saying that they shouldn’t be in college, but it’s clear that colleges use the SAT as more of an IQ test than a ready-or-not-ready measure. Well, I’ve always thought it was like the former. Maybe they put strange wording on the proctor’s prompt or something, but I’m pretty sure that’s what I heard.
There’s not much to say about school except blabbering the same complaints over and over so I’ll spare you the tedium.
Well one thing I’ll be looking forward to is being a TA for Spark’s Java class, considering it gets enough applicants. :) Speaking of Java, my AP Computer Science teacher just had his second baby! His children’s names are weird though… a girl named Ciara (pronounced “keera”) and a boy named Kaelin (cay-lin? He had our class vote for the name, between that and “Zade.” We wanted Zade but he ended up choosing Kaelin on his own accord). He’s a cool teacher but he has these funny phrases that seem to time warp from the 80’s. “Trip on this!” “Grip this!” Eugene would know.
Ah yes, to the nerdy part. EVE Online got a nice DX10 upgrade on top of three more large content updates since I last played (early 2006). I’m glad that CCP doesn’t delete inactive accounts. Ever. People from my corporation are still religiously active, but FK seems to have dissolved. Surrah and ECHAeries moved to T5K which I also joined last week when I started again (and which got expelled the night before last from the DRA alliance for controversial issues). I recall some of T5K pod-killed some of the nastier DRA guys while T5K was pulling back from the C4C region. Luckily I joined recently enough to not have had anything stored in C4C; someone already volunteered to and has started running T5K cargo back to the Empire territories. Anyway, I thought I was glad to have a Ferox battlecruiser when I quit in ‘06, but CCP came out with another Caldari battlecruiser, the Drake, which I am now a proud owner of (also cost me an arm and a leg [30 million ISK] ). Compared to the Ferox (which costs ~10 mil ISK less), the Drake has a lot more potential for shield tanking and has a good damage boost to kinetic missiles, being a specialized missile platform and all. Now that I think about it, the Ferox doesn’t really have a dedicated role… It’s got mostly missile bay slots, a few turret slots, and bonuses for some other stuff (electronic warfare?) that I don’t use.
I’m hoping to write more here… and my new design for this blog died somewhere in development. I’m hoping to start doing that again, but no promises. >_>
I have to design something.
-my weblog (!) -school website (!!!!!!) -mom’s website (!!)
… was pretty much boring. Again. Except for my last session, graphic design.
I heard from one of the speakers ( I won’t divulge names ), “When, of course, President Clinton[…blah blah…]” and so on. I’m pretty sure the person was attempting humor, but I wasn’t really paying attention. We asked, and the person said that they really did support her. Not to confess ignorance, but I think that’s pretty much the first person I’ve heard at our school who’s a strong supporter of Mrs. Clinton. I’m not really into politics a.t.m. but it’s amusing to see people getting all worked up over next year’s election. It’s going to be big, they say. I’m still putting my money on Obama just for the hell of it; I don’t really have a reason for doing so.
… and on a completely unrelated topic, did you know one of the fingers on the Mona Lisa is unfinished? Yep. Also, she really does have eyebrows. Shocking?
Look back a couple centuries and you’ll see that education sucks. Horribly.
Look a couple decades back and you’ll see that education is steadily getting to an advanced level. The College Board is created and AP classes are introduced.
Look at education now, and you’ll be hit in the face with college classes being taken by high-schoolers. Sophomores have two AP classes at once. Some juniors have 4. Seniors having five(5) AP classes isn’t unheard of.
Look in the future of education. What do you see? I see AP classes becoming a standard in many high schools. College may become just the next step instead of the next big leap, unless someone modifies their education regimes.
I ask my friends who are in college right now, “What’s it like? Is it hard?” They laugh and the general comment runs along the lines of, “Nah, it’s easy.” Adults tell us college is a big challenge. So what am I supposed to expect?
Yeah so I just finished an AP computer science test that I did really well on or bombed horribly. Eugene probably posted something, too. He sits behind me. :|
One more painful class and then no more school for 3 days…!!
I should probably get around to making a completely new style for my blog….
We’re still deciding on a CMS to work with for WebDev. I’m thinking about using IoCM/Evlan.
Ehhh… my legs are sore from running yesterday. ;_;
… splatters over the hood of my Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX as it nosedives into the dip in the road ahead. The sound twisting of metal screeches through my helmet and there is a loud crunching as the car settles back on four wheels. A bright red warning icon lets me know that my transmission is pretty much shot. Last in line, the pressure is on me to beat everyone else’s times for this rally event. Pedal to the metal, I strain to see over the hood, which has now been bent upward, obscuring my view of the road ahead.
A voice crackles over my helmet speakers - my “co-driver” is giving me instructions for the next set of obstacles: “160, crest, then left 3 tightens to 1, -” the rest is covered up by the sudden, loud pinging of rocks on the underside and then a burp of static. I see the little crest ahead and slow down for the sharp left turn afterward. As I come over the crest, I hit the handbrake, sending the Evo into an over-steered slide. I then realize, too late, what I missed in the instructions beforehand. A hairpin right turn is just a few meters away and the Evo is oriented in the completely wrong direction.
A explosion of windshield glass showers the inside of the car as it slams into the guardrail; the cheap, feeble, government-paid strip of metal easily rips apart. My inner ear senses that the car is beginning to flip on its side. Glancing to the right, a feeling of dread overcomes me when I realize there’s nothing else to stop the roll. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. The doors fly off, I catch a glimpse of a large gap ripped in the guardrail, and then a wave of nausea hits as the ruined Evo comes to a grinding halt at the bottom of a steep creek bed.
Is it over?
=+=+=+=
A graphic menu appears in the middle of the air. There is an option, “restart”, highlighted, and the message in bright red: “Terminal Damage”, to the right of it. Below, it shows the damage ratings of the different components of my totaled racer. A few of them are blood red: 0%.
“Restart” flashes a few times; my Evo appears on screen, good as new. The crowd standing on either side of the gate gives me a sub-par cheer and as the starting signal turns lime green, gravel spitting out from under the wheels, a tiny smile of mine slowly finds a way to show itself.
So yeah. Web Dev Club is officially started. Currently it’s just me, Ulysses, Eric (http://www.ericzhang.com), Andrew Sutherland (http://www.quizlet.com), maybe David Spies and Danni Pinal, and we just recruited Chris Gioia (<- TIC ‘06 and ARC ‘07). Mr. Morris has let go a little of his Java. It’s been established that we’re not going to start rebuilding the AHS site until we’ve decided on features and attended a staff meeting to find out what the teachers want. Yep. This could really be awesome or really, really, really bad.
+: Last.fm, new camera -: school, Last.fm hogs network bandwith
So in history, we’re learning about the Native Americans and thinking about if it was necessary for them to be swept aside for the sake of progress. Kind of makes me wonder… what if the Europeans had taken a more peaceful stance toward the natives? What would today’s society be like?
The teacher has given us more homework that all the other history classes combined. I swear. I have her for English, too. So 2 times (all other English and history classes hw combined) = ultimate death. The honors English classes haven’t even done as much.
What’re we doing in English? Learning and writing about immigrants and their struggles with assimilation into American culture. Fun stuff, eh? Sound a little like history? Looks like someone got their subjects mixed up into a homogeneous mess.
Sorry about the horrible banner. I’ve had no time to redo it.
Yeah. So school started. Big whoop. >_>
Things to do: -redesign this blog -get web dev club going at school -not get fat(ter) = do track and field
Being an upperclassman now feels kind of nice, yeh?
Concert band is a great deal more productive this year; because of the new teacher we do exponentially more stuff in one day than one week with the old one (he retired).
AP biology is kind of a bore, unfortunately. Well, we did do a lab in which snails were played with and that was fun, but the class itself is pretty “meh”.
I have both English and U.S. History with this new teacher and my god is she inconsiderate of our time at home. #1: She assigns similar assignments for both classes, which if you read the class names, doesn’t make sense. #2: She assigns annoying amounts of homework, which hog lots of time. In both classes I’ve been assigned an independent reading assignment as well as several essays. The English 3 honors class hasn’t done ANYTHING. #3: She doesn’t teach much of either subject. In English we’re reading about immigrants and in history we read about Tupac. #4: She’s pretty cool otherwise.
ROP digital photography has been a blast. We’ve had two photo shoot days already, with pretty decent cameras, two of which are the Lumix FZ-30 and FZ-50. I’ll be acquiring an FZ-50 shortly ($200 off baby).
AP computer science is a little iffy. The teacher is kind of strange, in both good and bad ways… Eric said he doesn’t teach anything that’s on the AP test (oh crap). But… I hope it gets better. This was the class I was looking forward to most aside from photography.
Pre-calc just sucks, as a class. I hate it. On a different note, we got the results of our first quiz/test back today, and if I remember correctly: 5 A’s 8 B’s 5? C’s 7 D’s and 10 F’s. 10 F’S! Luckily I was one of those “A” people. >_> What’s even more amazing is that none of the stuff on that test was actually pre-calculus. All of it was review from algebra II. Interesting, eh?
I’ve also gotten an SAT book.
Learnin’ vocab tiems?
…
It’s hard to believe that more than a year has gone by since all of us met in TIC.
After hearing Lloyd’s lecture this morning I really do thing he’s right about everything he said. The people who become our friends in that “classroom without walls” will probably stay with us for a long time or even the rest of our lives.
This year, our little group stuck together to take Building Next-Generation Web Applications, which was not an easy class at all. We were introduced to the challenges and frustrations of web programming… which we haven’t overcome yet, I think.
I know a large portion of why I chose to return this year was because of the friends I made here.
more later…
I spend a lot of Saturday cooped up on some boat, visiting cousins that I only knew existed the day before. It was fun and all but I liked walking around the marina, watching the birds and stuff (I didn’t like the smell, though. :-( ) Anyways…. I saw this seagull with a mauled mussel, but it was already finished eating. What made me look twice, though, was that the seagull was repeatedly picking up and then dropping the shell. I mean… it’s not like it was even trying to pick at the remains. The seagull picked up the mussel, looked around, dropped it, and then picked it up again. Over and over and over until I threw a rock at it. Then it scrammed.
That bird wasn’t the only one, though. I saw a bunch more, doing that. Makes me wonder if this is some kind of weird OCD that these avian have developed… It’s actually quite amusing if you see it for the first time.
Hm…. ATDP is going relatively well… the Web 2.0 class is still off to a slow start, but we’ve started learning PHP and JavaScript. yay TIC is doing well. They learned floats and assigned the group projects today. I’m still happy to see everyone there, every time.
Wow… It’s day 3 in ATDP 2007 and so much stuff has happened already.
On Monday, I paid a visit to TIC ‘07 and got to meet some of the new people. Afterward, lunch with the TIC 06’ers and TAs…
On Tuesday, lunch with Sarah, Janvi and Alex C., then Building Next-Gen Web Applications (which, expectedly, got off to a slow start), then Ben & Jerry’s afterward.
Today, paid another visit to TIC ‘07 and had lunch (consisting of air and one soda) with those people again ( ;D ), and then went to Jupiter to join some Albany friends for lunch (pizza and expensive Orangina).
With all that’s been going on, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me as the summer progresses.
Tomorrow’s gonna feel strange, with no ATDP…
Been far away for far too long…
Today, at 11:50PM, my life as a sophomore ended. As of that time, I have also entered the most important year of my life in high school. As I walked home, alone (for one), I looked down the long, perfectly linear road to my street, and I thought, “I’m walking toward the summer, toward ATDP, toward people that really mean something to me, toward the rest of my life.”
Another chapter has closed behind me and I realize…
I can’t afford to screw up anymore.
This is the first complicated array of closed doors, contents hidden, into the labyrinth of life. Best to start choosing now.
Whooosh. Yesterday was fun! :O
Student Union -> Copy Central -> Ned’s -> Crepes A-Go-Go -> Tolman -> La Val’s -> Tolman -> La Val’s (I think…) -> Regal Theatres (Knocked Up) -> Home.
There was a small confusion about ARC’s “course reader”…. hahahaha… Turns out we didn’t even need a book. :O
Omgah it was so nice seeing everyone again… Sarah, Janvi, Chungster, Alex, Lamquake, Kass, Spark, Quad, Lloyd, Sara, etc etc etc etcetcetcetc. It’s hard to believe nearly 1 year has passed since we last saw each other. Yesterday was about leaving school, finals, and all that stress behind where we came from, and taking the time instead to talk with friends and catch up on life.
It bugs me that this might be my last time attending ATDP if my junior-senior summer isn’t occupied with a job or whatever. I’ve gone to ATDP for about 5 or 6 years now…
I guess what I liked most was being around these people, more than the stuff we actually did. I felt some kind of deeper happiness talking and laughing with them after so long.
Yeh and I still have to fix my banner.
Well sorry I haven’t posted much… but AP tests are finally over and I’m hoping I’ll have some time to work on my new design for this blog. The design will be centered around my currently favorite games, which include the Halo series, Battlefield 2, IL-2 Sturmovik, and new addition Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
My score on the AP test? I estimate, maybe a 3.
And… and interesting piece of news from Blizzard Entertainment: http://www.starcraft2.com
If you’re wondering about the Disneyland trip… Check out my FaceBook for pics ‘cause I won’t actually be making a post. It’s one of those things where someone asks, “Hey how was the trip?” and then there’s so many things to tell that you just don’t feel like saying it all.
Also: people that own DS’s bring them to ATDP this summer. I’m in the process of “acquiring” a bunch of games.
Game related: (Happy to say) Team UGHQ has changed its name to Team Unkown: -=?=- Our leader is still CMDR Hawk and we are heading the FPS Gaming Solutions online community. Come check us out: http://www.fpsgamingsolutions.com/forums/index.php
MY BLOG ISN’T DEAD. I’LL BE MAKING A POST ABOUT THE L.A. TRIP THIS WEEKEND. WITH PICS!
Also, looks like I stayed home for Spring Break studying my ass off for something that’s not even going to happen yet. Freaking GG.
EDIT: Sunday looks like the earliest I can get back home and post. :: sigh ::
Haha… This weekend was a BAD weekend to have my birthday sleepover party. AP Chemistry hw, French hw, math hw, hw hw hw hw hw hw hwwhwhwhwhwhwhwhwhwhwwwhwhwhwhhwhwhwh
And getting 5 hours of sleep didn’t help either.
Went to see Mendelssohn’s Elijah at Davies Symphony Hall w/ Ceylan, Suzanne, Wayne, and Henry. It was pretty good…. I was tired as hell though. T_T
+:
-Finished dling and then getting a chance to play Medieval 2: Total War
-Sleepover party
-Money!
-Concert report for this semester is ready

-Something else….
Hm. 16… It doesn’t feel much different from 15… or 14…
Things that have changed: My mom’s stopped waking me up in the morning if I haven’t done so by myself…. <- crap And….. that’s about it… hahahaha…. >_>
16 years is a long time to remember… well technically 14 since I hadn’t had memory at 2… I remember stuff like elementary school teachers and what we did in middle school, but there’s something more important that I need to be remembering… Test material, what college I want to apply for, all that stuff. It’s taken me a while to realize that I’m entering an extremely crucial time in my life and looking at my GPA, I’m sweating just a little. It’s true that my grades have slipped since entering high school and I should probably haul-ass if I want to go somewhere good.
I can’t be so carefree anymore, I can’t stay up so late… I can’t do this I can’t do that… It’s harsh… At least it’ll be just a little easier once I start college, eh? Or am I just fighting the boss in the middle?
I GOT A 7600GS, LOL.
Now my games look cinematic!!!!!! <3
Haha sorry for the sparse posts… nothing’s been happening.
Except today….
Installed 7600GS.
Superintendent’s concert! <— We totally screwed up at the end of our piece ‘cause our conductor noticed something wrong and tried to change the time so we could get back on track, but that just made it worse for some reason. >_<
:O :O :O :O :O :O :O :O :O :O
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars coming out SOOOOOOOON! SOOOO SOOOOOONNNN!!!!!
Whoever is reading this, GET IT. Regardless of your gaming knowledge. >_>
I beat the demo already on medium difficulty. :D
I’m also getting a new video card SOOOOO- lol I’ll stop there. Not kidding tho. =/
School still sux. :|
… my weblog design is taking forever. >_>
Once school is over and ATDP starts I can really get working on it.
::sigh::
One thing I’m looking forward to:
My paintball tourney debut. Taking place at Paintball Jungle in/near Vallejo, March 18th, 2007. Come watch if you have the time. ^__^;; Opens from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. No $$$ if you’re not playing.
This post is actually for yesterday, but I was too lazy. :O
2 things: Rachel’s 16th birthday, birthday party and Chinese new year! Of course I’ll be going in chronological order. :O
I woke up at around 10:30 AM ‘cause my dumb alarm didn’t wake me up. ::lol/koff:: Walked to the Plaza BART station at 11:15, basically everyone (Trent, Wayne, Narin, Suzanne, Molly, Ceylan, Rachael [Masterson, I think]) was there, except Rachel (lol), David, and Jack. Rachel, her mom, and her brother (wtf emo hair xD) showed up like 20 seconds later, David some minute later (I think…) and Jack was doing something…
BART over to Powell St. and walked like 2 blocks over to the Metreon. Rachel’s mom made reservations for Hyperbowl and 1-hour unlimited $ game cards for Arcade One! :D Hyperbowl was like… painful? XD You get this giant ball-mouse/thing and there’s a screen with virtual ball and world. You roll the real ball around in the socket and the ball on screen tries to use mediocre-physics-engine to do stuff. =/ There’s like… a level with San Francisco… Tokyo… etc. The pins and stuff are still there, of course.. you just have to like.. dodge obstacles and stuff to get to them. The repeated hand actions cause pain… >_<
Anyways, during our Hyperbowl-ing Lauren, Rachel’s friend from SF, showed up. Turns out she and I have a scatter of things in common, which I won’t bother to list. ::lol:: After Hyperbowl Lauren and I started talking in the arcade room and we played a few super-old games together. We wanted to play that poser-DDR, too, but the pads were screwed and there was like… a .2 - 2 second delay on the steps… >_> After the hour was done all of us headed outside ‘cause there was like… nothing else to do. xD
Things winded down a bit… we ended up walking over to Zeum and Rachel bought ice-cream and water for everyone. On the BART ride back (WTF CROWDED) a poking war started (I was caught in crossfire, thx) and most of the others were scolded by other passengers. :P
I had to stay on BART at Plaza ‘cause my mom wanted me to walk to my grandparents’ house for the new year party… everyone else got off at Plaza. >_>
Long-dinner short: whole roasted pig, rice, duck, not as many people (thank god) + $$$ = Happy Chinese New Year! XD
YEH YOU HEARD ME. EASY.
Yep. This is one of those few times where I overestimate a test. That’s right. Overestimated.
If I don’t pass I’m gonna like… go emo for a year.
From the math section:
2) -1 + 5 = a) 2 b) 4 c) 5 d) -6
FOR REALZ?
Anyways… I haven’t updated in a long time, apparently. :O
Interesting lab in AP chem: Mix concentrated hydrosulfuric (I think) with Cu, Zn, Fe, Mg and see if it reacts and releases gas. If so, blow it up! :D It’s hydrogen, baby.
Next part: Mix various acids with Zn (the most reactive) and see how much hydrogen comes out of each. :O
Tomorrow: Something even cooler. ;-)
I’ve seem to have gotten myself a case of Penspinning! :O I even made my own pen to do this strange hobby with. Look at it! :O
http://ericzhang.com/upload/media/100_1286.JPG
Made with Pentel R.S.V.P., rubber grip from PaperMate Profile, and paper design insert from t3h Intarwebs.
There’s tons of vids on YouTube that’ll get you some idea of this wacky thang.
Well, I’m off to practice. XD
Oh yeah, I’ve finished the background image and banner image for my weblog’s future look. ;)
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey…..
Just got back from the Winter Ball…. Tired as heck. :O Fun tho. ^__^ Suzanne from Pinole actually showed up. xD
I’m sore all over and I’m going paintballing tomorrow. >_>
G__G
I also went paintballing yesterday! :O Bear Creek Paintball in Milpitas gets a 5/5! :D
Well…. I took the dreaded AP chem mid-term today. It didn’t turn out so bad, I think…….. The only things that really threw me off completely was hybridization of bonds… Ew.
Forgot to mention it earlier but I went to see Children of Men on Sunday. The movie described an oh-so-possible near-future dystopian world where humanity has lost the ability to give birth and is desperately trying to keep from destroying itself. Great Britain has become the only place in the world where it is remotely safe to live (it is also the setting), becoming a magnet to refugees from other desolated countries. Times begin to change as a young black woman is revealed to have gotten pregnant and gives birth to a healthy child. Starring Clive Owen (the first time I saw this guy I thought he was Nicolas Cage with more facial hair XD)! :D Go see it, please.
EDIT: What’s up with this font? Nvm figured it out.
Well, a lot of stuff has been going on lately since my crash-and-burn-return from China…
School has been chaotic as hell for me since I recovered from whatever bug that got me (for an entire week. :O) with all the make-ups and whatever. This week is finals week and I’m not in the best shape……. Took the math and history mid-terms today, did almost perfectly on the math one and nearly failed the history one (teacher has us study topics A and tests us on B).
The main reason for my post is hearing Bush’s State of the Union address earlier this evening. He talked about the major issues regarding the “War on Terror,” the energy crisis we’ve been having, medical reforms, etc. Most people noted that more and more Republicans are becoming discontent with what Bush has been doing, as this night’s speech did not receive as much enthusiasm as speculation and pessimism.
The highlight quote: “Whatever you voted for, you did not vote for failure.” in regard to the war in the Middle-East (it’s no longer just in Iraq and Afghanistan…). He means that he will not withdraw troops until his mission is done, a mission that may even have changed objectives many times, locations of operation expanding to other countries. From what I heard the U.S. is now trying to multitask in the Middle-East, which I somewhat am inclined to disagree with.
With two years left in his own reign of crap, President Bush is planning to send in an additional wave of armed forces to try and flush out the insurgents once and for all. Good luck on that… >_>
My new goals, web-design wise: - Redesign this blog - Create a portfolio website, much like in TIC, but with much more work - Create websites for as many school projects as I can
I’ve got Windows, Windows, Windows 386, so all my applications are running at once! :O
http://windows386.ytmnd.com
I can finally do a Rubik’s Cube! :D I bought one yesterday. XD
Yeah I’m too lazy to upload the Norcal pb expo part 3… It’s not so interesting anyways. xD
Here it is! Part 2!
Awesome pic of an early game, right off the break. There’s Kevin in the back w/ the JT pants.
Michael, left, and Kevin, right, sitting on a tube in the sidelines. I’m standing behind the camera. xD Even though we were out of the way of the game going on, we still got pelted by stray paintballs. Hahaha…..
Chris being silly. He’s wearing a barrel cover in the likeness of a cougar, which is also our school’s mascot.
There’s me in the back with my awesome Black Magic.
Massive stack on the back-center bunker during the Pros vs. U.S. Marines game, I’m on the marines’ side and have nowhere to go, so I’m stacked up, waiting for an open position… >_< There’s me in the back of the line…..
I finally get a chance to bump up but then…..
Tada! The star picture of this event.
Paintball eating contest! D:
WOrr (not mispelled) Custom paintballs…. Orange shell, yellow fill.
And they’re off! The objective is to break paintballs in your mouth and then spit them into a pod, and whoever fills up the pod first wins. Not a single unbroken paintball may be in the pod or you can’t win.
Half-way….
The guy in the red shirt starts gagging. xD
Totally unexpected! The girl WINZ! :O Congratz! All contestants recieve half a bowl of paintballs, ‘cause there were 6 of them for 3 bowls. Wow… >_< By that time I had already run out of paint.
More later :D
:D :D :D :D :D
Went to the Amtrak Station in Berkeley and got onto the train headed for Davis. We were hella bored on the train so Michael bought some cards.. Hahaha…
At Patrick’s house! LOL Michael!
Patrick’s Chincilla!!!!!!
@ Woodstock Pizza! The best freaking pizza in the world! Expensive tho… >_>
Chris t3h photographer.
The Firebird…. >:D I had 3 slices w/ hella dried pepper flakes. Mouth on fire… :D
The next day…..
Walking to the field from Patrick’s house… 1-2 hours. We saw Greg Hastings from XSV at a doughnut shop. xD
We find a shopping cart! Saved our butts. xD
Almost there… =.=”
LAND HO! D:
Random people trying out the new markers. xD
More later! :P Fyi, Patrick is in none of the pics. XD XD XD
EDIT: Pix are cut off… >_<
... there was no chem test 'cause we had a substitute and half of the people were gone the day that we reviewed stuff... Lucky break? >_<
And I discover just now that I have no idea where my P.E. clothes are... are they at school? Lost somewhere at home? IONO. D:

^ Go watch it. Fifth time for me. xD
Made me think about how sometimes you have to make a choice to do wrong for a greater good.... or something you think is the greater good. All morals aside, is it worth killing a few to save hundreds or even thousands? I really don't know.
Kill the mother and the child won't exist........
Well, looks like I'll be gone for Thanksgiving break....... >_>
and....
OMFG WINTER BREAK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo............ T_T
Thanksgiving: L.A.
Winter break: China
EDIT: I think I'm gonna try and paintball a little in those places. Hahaha.......
Alick: So what. >_< I don't feel like going anywhere.
... is the name of my school's theater ensemble's production that I went to see today. Hecka funny most of the time. There was this hecka loud girl sitting behind my friends and me and when she laughed (almost constantly, even at nothing) it sounded like.... Janice from Friends..... Except the noise wasn't as frequent. Just annoying. >_<;;
The play's about this bunch of kids who are playing "Pretend" during school recess. There's a king and he gets owned by a commoner and then when the commoner becomes the new king he starts to get greedy and shows his bad leadership. The son of the previous king goes and gets this huuuuuuuuge sword (crafted from aluminum foil ::lol::) and has the peasants rebel and own the retarded king. Lots of humor and great acting. Good job, guys! ^__^
...includes four quarters, two dimes, two nickels, four pennies, a phone handset, empty Powerade bottle, empty cup, secondary keyboard, prompt for an essay due two weeks ago, progress report from school, Microsoft Word 2000 CDs, air duster, Logitech headset, a pen from a Comfort Inn somewhere... and a stack of CDs and DVDs I neglected to put back in their places.
That's half of the stuff on the upper surface of the front-most third of my desk. I should clean it some time... >_> When I reach to adjust the volume on my speakers (Yamaha 2.1) I knock over like 20 things.
Once again I get an "A" in today's concert band playing test. Most people got B's or C's... =/ To be honest I don't practice at all. In fact my bass clarinet is at school right now sitting in a really big cabinet/locker.
I wish TIC would come sooner. ~__~
Oh yeah I also bought a WGP Black Magic auto(yes yes...)cocker! Hecka cheap too! XD And don't try to dissuade me from paintballing; I've gone in too far. >_>
Yes, I know, I've been neglecting my blog. =/
Shaddup already I'll work on it.... eventually. >_>
were boring... -_- The math sections were too easy and the English sections were too boring to comprehend. -_-
-_-
-_-
Otherwise I think it went pretty well. xD
... may be used in future English assignments! D:
Mr. Ross said that last year he liked having his students get weblogs and post in them for homework assignments. Huzzah!
I just realized how I've decreased in physical fitness... :( I got my first <7 minute mile today, which should have been happening this whole time... :( ::anorexia:: JK JK JK EW. Still I'm gonna have to change my habits a bit. >_>
DDR more? KTHX! :D
... and the ammo is flying.
In front, on the left, behind, and on my right I hear the quick rattling of discharging paintballs and the shouts of comrades. I run forward and right to a bunker, dodging a flurry of paint. A dive... and I'm on the ground. I scramble the last few inches and come to a kneel. WHAP WHAP WHAP WHAP I hear paintballs splattering on the other side of my hiding spot. I peek out, CHINK-a-CHINK-a-CHINK-a, three shots, all misses. Another peak, and my heart rate spikes as I'm hit in the goggles, twice in my chest, and once on my left leg. I raise my hand, "I'm hit, I'm hit!" and walk off the field. I taste paint... ~__~
-Round 1 of game 1
3... 2... 1... GAME ON! Paint is everywhere. Andrenaline keeps my mind sharp and I hide behind my assigned bunker. I peek and see a target on the other side of the field. I pull back out of sight as paint splatters the spot where I was half a second ago. I peek around the other side and fire off half my hopper at the target while yelling his position to my teammates. He's out and I switch targets. I see Benson hiding behind the left X and spray the rest of my paintballs at him, but not hitting anything. A quick yell of "I need ammo!" and an anonymous teammate tosses a pod over. Reload, and I start shooting at Benson again. Richard then took my kill. >_>
-final round of last game before we left
Injuires (not rly): 3 welts on the chest, two welts on my arms, two on my legs. EDIT: 2 more on my back. >_o
NO! PAINTBALL IS NOT A VIOLENT SPORT! NOR IS IT DANGEROUS (when following the rules of course). Statistics show that paintball has the least serious injuries per exposure out of any sport, including golf. Of course it hurts when you get shot, but when doesn't it hurt when you get hit (like by a baseball for example. Paintball < baseball?). And for those of you who are afraid to lose your vision from a hit to the eye, that's where the freaking goggles come in. It's required by law to wear eye protection when in the field and enforced by everybody to have a sleeve or barrel plug to prevent accidental shots outside of the field. On top of all of that, forceful physical contact is forbidden, which means you can't punch someone, kick someone, or whatnot.
Some reasons why I chose to go paintballing instead of the boating trip: 1) anticipated for weeks and weeks. 2) spent my own money purchasing my marker and accesories. 3) I'm playing a completely valid sport (4 - 5 ruling of Olympic committee for the inlusion of paintball as an Olympic sport), so it's not like I'm sitting in my room all day.
I HATE DLIEMMAS. I have quite a large one on my hands right now.
Choice #1: Go paintballing with Kevin and everybody else on Saturday, a chance that will not come up again for another 1-2 months. This was anticipated >1 month in advance.
Choice #2: Go with my mom to stay on her friend's boat from Saturday to Monday, a chance that will probably not (if not never) come up again for years. I was told about this 2 weeks before.
Consequences of either choice: If I choose to go paintballing then I'll feel guilty for ditching my mom to go playing with friends and if I choose to go on the trip then I'll have died from anticipating the paintball outing way in advance.
Already in play: I talked to my mom and told her that I really wanted to go paintballing. She responded with a kind of disappointed voice and dealt a final blow with "if you would rather go play with your friends." Ouch. o__<
Out of all 30 days of this entire freaking month why do these two fun outings have to take place on the SAME FREAKING DAY?!
[20:25] m4dn355X: I think I'm [level] 56.
[20:25] (anon): weak
[20:25] m4dn355X: Dude i've been playing for 2 days.
[20:25] m4dn355X: Gimme a break.
[20:26] m4dn355X: I just started after an entire year without L2.
[20:26] (anon): Weak.
... excerpt from a slightly frustrating convo with my buddy. SOMEONE is an L2 GEEK!
My long-overdue public opinion of gold farmers: THEY. SUCK. MULTIPLE. ___________.
That's right! You dirty robbers! You dumb customers! YOU ARE ALL DISGRACEFUL! IT'S PAYING TO SPEND MONEY (spending money x2)! After you buy your dumb Axe of Dragon-slaying +1123581321.14159265 for $200 and then lose it in a freak "transfering accident," then what do you do?! Even if you don't lose it all you're really gaining is the power to remove a dynamic entity from the screen somewhat quicker than before, only to have it respawn some minutes later. Jeezus Kroyst!
... Yep that's the highlight of today. Free for all JSettlers between Kass, Quad, Balex, and me. I was failing horribly at first but then right before my dumb Java client blew up I pulled ahead by 1 VP and then when I came back as another alias Kass went and pulled ahead with a dev card... Hahaha..... Great stuff. xD
Kass: 8 (EDIT: 9!!!!)
Me: 7
Alex/Quad: 4! <--- hahahaha
Alex claims to have had 4.. >.> It showed 2 though. ::suspicious::
... said often by Ms. Carlock, a "cool" teacher of AHS.
Wandering around in my thoughts today I realized that, strangely, all my teachers are in one way or another, considered cool teachers which then got me thinking, how did "cool teachers" become cool teachers? Did they spring out of the ground, or a more logical way, like being able to identify with their students? Some of my teachers use dry humor, some are able to talk to the students about everyday things like sports and music. This leaves a large number of "uncool" teachers, however. Not surprisingly a lot of those teachers are old and apparently aren't able to summon the energy to try and keep up with baggy jeans and loud rap music.
So then at the end of each year students pass along the word of which teachers are cool and those that are spawned from tar pits. This then possibly leads into a bias of class choices, choosing teacher over subject. Some teachers get less and less students because they aren't hip or cool enough to keep their students focused or interested and eventually some subjects are favored over others merely on force of prejudice.
You should see where this could lead, so how does the district get students interested in those classes that have sometimes been given hurtful labels by alums? How does society keep knowledge that is not willingly learned by a large majority of younger generations?
...since that terrifying day.
Back at the old house in El Cerrito I remember waking up and my mom shouts for us to come watch the TV. Boom! Second plane hits.
A lot of people didn't show up for school the next couple of days. Everything just... stopped. For one week nothing progressive happened. The entire U.S. basically shut itself in a hole.
Nowadays it makes me wonder why people are capable of doing such things. The question is always "why?" "When?" could be anytime, "where?" could be anyplace, "who?" could be anyone, "what?" could be anything, but "why?" is the big one. People who do things to freighten others, "terrorists," must have some kind of reason for what they do.
...
It sure doesn't feel like five years does it?
I've taken another step in life! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
... by purchasing a paintball gun. ::lol::
$150 bucks for a WGP Autococker Trilogy+ accessories. Not bad. :)
^ That name isn't as interesting as you might think. Go research it if you want.
Bahahaha... the "Settlers" party was fun.. xD We should change the name to "PDA Games" party. For you uniformed, PDA Games is a mini-game for Alien Homonid. And if you guys don't know what that is please take the next few minutes to bang your head against a WINDOW. I got in 15 minutes of Settlers before I had to go... >.> Stupid music lessons.
... and that's all I have to say.
Have a nice day. :)
... School started today! D: D: D: D: D: D:
Ah yes I forgot to write about the Mean Girls party! :D Long story short, wait for everyone to come, Pokemon Cards (rofl), Mean Girls!!!!!!!!! (Boo, you whore!), and Settlers of Catan <- Kickass boardgame, Max and I teamed up on Dennis. >:D
School schedule:
Algebra II - SDOFSDJKFJSDLKF?! NO HONORS?! I sucked at Geometry Honors that's why... >.> IMO algebra 2 should have algebra 1 as a prequisite not frickin geometry.
PE-2: Sigh... no Bankson to make fun of us... :(
World History: Hahaha Mr. Brown is funny. He also looks Indian but his speech sounds like that of an African-American.
AP Chemistry: Didn't do anything today but if Ms. Carlock does all the stuff that she said then she's gonna be a kick-ass teacher.
French 3: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO HARD! Selvin gave us a POEM TO MEMORIZE! right off the bat! SKDJLFK:SDJKFSDL:FJSDFJSDKL:J HALF OF IT BY TOMORROW! SDJKFSDKL:FJSDKL:FJL:
English 2: Classmates suck (by that I mean LOUD), teacher rocks.
Concert Band, also known as Pep Band now: Mr. Lilienthal seems excited about this year (bad thing or good thing?) because we have "most of the best players in the school," the entire band is now also the pep band, and we're going to Disneyland. :D
Sigh... AP chemistry and French 3 are going to shove multiple F's down my throat. X (
::lol:: Alina and I just got back from Ulysses' play, Diary of a Scoundrel. He had the lead part, playing Yegor Gloumov, aka the scoundrel. I won't say anything about the plot so don't badger me about it. ;) However I will say there are some hilarious remarks about Russia and their government. xD
Had dinner with Kass, Lloyd, and Spark (the freaking restaurant [Mangia Mangia] was 1 minute away from our house! We could have walked there but we met at Lloyd's office instead. xD ::lol::), headed over to The Masquers theatre at around 7:45.
... Snakes On A Plane was.... interesting? I went with some Albany friends to see it.
It's kind of out there.. I mean some guy just got like a hundred poisonous and illegal snakes onto a big jetliner and then releasing them in flight. If you get past wondering how the heck one could get all those snakes onto a plane, you are then faced with images of gruesome deaths by lethal injection. i.e. bloated body parts, and in one scene, a guy with the spike of a certain high-heel stuck all the way into his ear, and in the beginning some guy gets his brains bashed out (you don't see it but you can hear the gray matter falling onto the ground). TMI? I thought so.
Ethical decisions made by some of the minor characters were totally half-assed in my opinion, and that just made me want to rip their heads off before the snakes do. As usual the main-main character is retarded in the beginning and then a hero at the end.
All in all, SoaP didn't get much liking from me, but if you like seeing weird (maybe disgusting?) stuff happen to people, go see it. You won't be disappointed. Maybe. Bring a parent it's rated R. Don't ask how we got in there. :P
... and that's what I heard at the back door after Eric and Alick came over yesterday. It seems like they hopped over my back fence gate and knocked on my BACK door instead of the FRONT door like normal people. Some neighbors saw them and thought they were robbers. A few minutes later I find myself with a Colt .45 pointed at my head by a police officer with some cohorts behind. It turns out they get a lot of robberies this time of year so they were being extra careful. It ended up being nothing but that was so cool. :D
Eric and Alick have been chastised. >:)
Hehe today was fun. Alina and I went with Trev, Kass, Lloyd, and a whole bunch of TA's to San Francisco for a TA appreciation dinner. At first Alina and I planned to meet them at the 2:30 time but our dad ran into some traffic and we missed them by 20 minutes. After waiting around for an hour or so Lloyd found us and we met up with Trev's group, who went ahead to Chinatown.
We ate at this Italian restaurant on Green and (something), and the food was pretty good. Two large pizzas and three plates of pasta were enough to feed all (12?) of us. The funniest part about it was they gave us these crayons and since the table was covered with paper all of us drew random stuff. Something I learned: Alex Hong is good at drawing! D: Another thing I learned: NEVER GET THE MOJITO GELATO!!!! D: D: D:
Today was the last... and I mean very last... day of TIC '06. :( We partied from beginning to end and events included pizza ravaging with a side of 11 on 4 frisbee (which we shamefully lost >.>). I also pwned everybody at SSB:M. Hahaha I haven't played that in so long.
My day: I woke at around 8:30 and I knew it was that dreaded day. I never thought it would come so soon but like a sniper's bullet it found me and its presence was acknoledged, if not reluctantly, by everyone. Peter and Tom came over and we messed around with the new Guild Wars professions out for beta testing this weekend. It was fun I guess.
At percisely 11:34 AM I lugged two 12-can boxes of soda out towards the BART station and after I got to Berkeley I lugged them once again, this time UPHILL D: to Tolman. I didn't bother playing games today. They weren't needed. I met up with the crazy group outside and we messed around for a few minutes before the entire group leftover from the AM class went back to the TMF. Overcast in the sky... that's how I feel about today. Inside, craziness ensued as our class convened for the last time. Kyle had old Pokemon episodes playing on his latop ::lmao:: and some of us cluttered around it to watch. Eventually Kass and Trevor ushered us outside to begin the feast. My meal: 3 slices of pizza, one can of soda, four buffalo wings and one regular wing, one eclair, one cup of apple cider. Good stuff.
I sat with Sarah, Janvi, and Koki for a little, not really saying anything in particular, the occasional comment did surface however. A game of frisbee started and I didn't join until later. I just wanted to sit with some people significant to me. How overcast...
Back in class I played (and kicked ass at) Super Smash Bros.: Melee. xD When it was time to leave a large group of us traveled to Tapioca Express and fooled around (GO TO THE DARK SIDE! >:D) for around three-quarters of an hour. Then the final goodbyes were being prepared as we descended into the BART station. Unfortunately the Fremont train came first... Got a hug from Sarah (Heh you've been the one I've talked to the most ::lol:: I'll miss our midnight chats just talking about nothing in particular, just waiting for a new day.. You've been awesome and I'll say it again, NOT stupid. :P) , Janvi, and Koki (No one hates you! :D) ::yay:: and then it was just Trent and me... the ride back was uneventful and not much was said while we walked back home. ::sigh:: So sad..
Interesting people I met and got to know: Sarah, Janvi, Koki, Dennis (not really met >.>), Kass (keep on WoWing) , Trev (dude stop getting into accidents. xD), Lloyd (being slick with your camera today huh? :P), Alex (Hongster, sorry we didn't win the NetHunts... ;__;), Alex (Lam[quake] pro-est origmai folder I've ever met. )YiYi / Cary (have fun in Harvard!), Cindy (sugar! :D), Max (watch that anime like a pro xP), Kyle (I hope you're not Luxon), Vivian (I've never poked you so HAH!), Stevie (you've been a really cool TA), and possibly Terrance (you left early but I think you're cool. xD).
I'll miss all you guys and I really hope to see you all around sometime. If I get the TA job then yay! xD
AIM or Metaverse, don't lose touch guys. ;)
EDIT: We won the Marathon Chat ::lol:: 225 pages compared to Japanese's (100< x <110) pages. :P
Whoa. The Marathon Chat got off to a rocky start. I guess we're doing OK. The majority of the time I've been in there is spent reading what others have to say about: POKEMON. WOW. O_O
On another note, Eric came over today and brought me my black button shirt and my $40 headset which I left at his house during the sleepover. Yay! ^__^ After that we went to Rubio's and he bought me some long-overdue food (I've given him so much food from my house xD). The fish burrito isn't nearly as gross as it sounds. I swear on my computer.
If you'd like to join us, come before 12 AM PST on a Thursday 7/27 at http://virtualatdp.berkeley.edu/draft/chat.
Seriously guys, I don't think ANYONE who will ever read this will EVER get in so relax. >.>
Lloyd's first impression of Eevee:
[22:54:15] lloyd: ...a tiny brown polar bear? Eeew. Not delicious.
And then after seeing the pic,
[22:55:22] lloyd: That's an eevee? It looks satanic.
Hahahahahahahaha.
Well Kass let me off the hook everybody else's on due to my body being retarded, so I'm going to take advantage and sleep early today. =.= Bleeding of the nose is now a constant. My Halo site is "almost" done though. I "just" have 70% of the Halo 2 and a little bit for Halo 3.
Sick day # 6. (and counting...)
=.= I just woke up from a four-hour nap.... Still not getting better. In fact I'm getting worse! D: Coughing fits now ensue constantly and I STILL CAN'T TASTE ANYTHING! I don't know if it's related but I've slipped into a bloody nose phase... >.>
How am I going to finish my project AND my index in this condition... .__.;;
Well.... off to bed I guess...
>:O All this heat has made my illness worse. Ugh. I can't even enjoy soup. It's too hot and I can't taste anything. Sigh.
Kurzick - Luxon War: HAH SUXONS WE ARE ON YOUR TURF NOW! ::muahahahahahaha::
Well I think I've gotten better. o_O Still got that sticky feeling in my throat and my stomach is kinda twisty-turney. Headaches occur occasionally. TIC was.... different. xD We learned some stuff about digital photography from this guy from upstairs. He and Trev have really nice cameras. o.o''
Funny thing that guy brought up though, the idea that your most needed piece of equipment fails to function at the most critical times. How true.... for example, my computer recently imploded and I had to reformat and redo stuff just before the start of our final project. Well I guess that isn't the MOST critical point, but it still counts. :P I remember during the past school year one of my projects got ruined the night before the due date... That was NOT fun. My teacher thought I was lying. >.>
Oh yes, back to digital photography. Our entire class headed out to the "campanile," some distance from the bell tower and our task was to take a picture of anything on the way there and back with either Trev's camera or that other dude's. I took one of the "don't dump crud in this drain" things outside of Tolman. xD When we got back to Tolman though we all took a detour (not really >.>) and climbed that abstract wall-thing, for lack of better terminology. Trev took pics of us being silly.
I just realized how much waste matter I've gotten myself into by gathering 80+ items and explanations to write for my Halo site.
Kurzick - Luxon War: we made SOME progress. Most of the front is on their side now, for today. Still have to clean up some more on the Etnaran Keys.
Let's see... I think I've been doing alliance battles in Guild Wars: Factions the ENTIRE day... o_O I can't get enough of it. xD I actually helped shove the dumb Luxons back to their side in one part of the map but then I got transfered to another battlefront where we were being pushed back to our side.
Current build: A/W Critical Eye + Way of Perfection --> Death Charge + Unsuspecting Strike + Jungle Strike + (Repeating Strike * X) + Death Blossom w/ "Zealous PvP Daggers of Enchanting", Shadow Refuge for emergencies.
But that's not all I did. I've raked up more than 80 images for my Halo site, with each one having a different thing to talk about. Whoosh this is going to be hard. xD
In other news: It's more than likely I've gotten sick today... >.> Ugh.. I really don't want to miss TIC tomorrow.
::sniff::
::cough::
::sniff::
Well apparently we've changed seats while we were at home. o_O
-more later-
Later: I just (not) got back from watching "An Inconvenient Truth" with some other people including Trevor, Kass, YiYi, and Lloyd. Good movie. xD RESCUE THE FROGS PEOPLE! D: There were some strange things going on in the world that I was somewhat aware of yet never really took notice of. Ol' Gore did a good job with his slideshow presentation which some people *cough* thought would be just like any other boring one. There was also this cg rendered movie with a polar bear swimming around and then it comes upon this pitiful slab of thin ice and when it tries to get on for a rest it splits so it has to keep swimming... Poor bear... ::sniff::
So today in class Kass did a lecture on JavaScript.. It was interesting I guess. I was talking to her early morning today and I engaged her in a conversation about.... WARCRAFT XD... so I almost prevented her from even prepping the lecture. ::lol:: I spent the rest of the time finding pictures for my Halo site. Yeah that's about it for today....
Oh wow. I got pwned by Flash today. I nearly broke my head on my hand from all the ::facepalms:: I had to do. FLASH IS EVIL! T____T Well if you want to see my 10-sec animation, here: http://tol4mac13.soe.berkeley.edu/~tansen/log071706.html. Don't forget the popcorn.
In other news: I got Guild Wars: Factions! Yay! But then they announced Guild Wars: Nightfall so I'm like F***!
EDIT: Hahahaha go to this site, open a new window and go to any other site, and then copy and paste the "description" into the address bar, press enter and be amazed:
http://ytmnd.com/sites/profile/509519
New groups today in TIC >.> I forgot my StarCraft CD's... :( So then I went with YiYi, Alex, and some other dude to get crepes. xD I had applesauce and cinammon... it was really good other than the fact that I think they forgot to spread out the cinammon... :O HOT HOT HOT. Apparently we're supposed to learn about Flash today.
-more later-
Later: Whoosh! After an intense workout of the brain Kass' allowed me to do my individual project on Halo. Yay! The Flash demonstration was amusing I guess, but our practice time got screwed over when they found out we couldn't install Flash 8 on the TMF comps during AM. ::lol:: New group: Trent, Joshua, and me with Alex as our TA. xP
Yay! Thanks to Kass for this! ^___^
Anyways... I guess I'll talk about what happened before and during Eric's (the totally cool programmer friend) party Friday-Saturday.
Friday
I got up at around... 9-ish? I played around on my computer and then headed for Berkeley at around 11. Got there, had lunch with people (Pat Brown's Grill again... they really skimped out on the chicken strips today >.>). Class was fun as usual and we didn't have any class work. It was a pretty laid-back day I guess. After that I went with Sarah, Janvi, and Dennis to Ben & Jerry's for ice-cream - I got a strawberry-banana smoothie - and then huffed it back to Albany. Richard and Jack came over and my mom drove us all to Eric's house in Hercules (we all brought our computers :D). We got there a quarter before seven and aparently we were also the last to arrive. I saw Wayne, Jeff, Henry, Narin, and Mike already setting up their own computers. The first few minutes were spent setting up (Jack's computer needed immediate formatting) and the rest of us installed Quake III Arena and stuff... I brought my uber long ethernet cable too :D It went from the downstairs living room, up two flights of stairs and about twenty feet to the router. Hahahaha! The next few hours consisted of Quake, GTA: San Andreas, Guild Wars (me >.>), a movie: Falling Down (Lol hella funny), Mario Party 64, WarCraft III, and food :D The last thing I did before midnight was talk to people (one person actually >.>).
Saturday
Yep. Still awake. Worms World Party until around four o'clock and then sleepz. I was the first to wake and my mom had come to pick me up to send me to an optometry appointment. My vision hasn't changed for years apparently (happy about that ^__^) and I got back to Eric's around eleven. The rest of the people had also awoken and we all dragged ass to the nearby park to play ghetto baseball... xD We had an aluminum bat, a tennis ball, and we jacked four large rocks from the beach area over a fence. xP When I got back to Eric's house the most crappy thing happened. My computer recieved an un-cancelable update from Microsoft that "security-ed" all my programs and basically rendered it useless. A reformat was in order when Eric noted that my processor had reached 80 degrees Celsius (O_O WOW). Good thing it didn't melt. Hercules is REALLY HOT btw... >.>
Sunday
I got home eventually and fixed my computer... Sigh.... Everything's gone...
Monday early early morning
Here I am now... With my... empty comp... Yep.
