Finally!

I know I'm definitely going to get teased for the URL and layout, but I'm just glad that /pink wasn't already taken.

Anyways I'm only just starting to get the hang of this, MT and its rebuild site option causes me too much stress. >_>

I'm not about to repost anything from the first and short lived Pink, most of it was delete worthy. I hope I'll be writing something more meaningful here soon, but at the moment I'm working on poo plushimal pins.

And on my to-do list

Facial Expressions: :X :D >_> :) ^_^
Features: wings
Etc: sweatdrop, heart, bow, thunderbolt

Hopefully I'll find some use for them before they flood my room. ;-;

poo pin

I finnished more more poo pins, so heres a sample of the most recent one :) This one features the :X face, blush marks and a sweatdrop. I thought the original looked too boring.

Anyways, mom leaves for Hong Kong soon so siblings and I will be at home. Alone. With my sister "in charge." -_-' Justin's at lacrosse camp until Wednesday, so it's mostly my sister and I butting heads at home.

We aren't getting along that well, and I just can't seem to figure out why. With past roomates, aquaintences and other people I might not have liked I was able to be on speaking terms, and behave politely.

I guess sisters are a whole different story. She spies on me, and I act inconsiderately. I'm a bad roommate and she's home so often that I'm completely unused to her being here :\

Well, at least I'll try to be out of the house for most of the 2 and a half weeks. I have volunteer job and Self Help for the Elderly, Chinese less (even in the summer) and plushie making xD Add transportation to that and I'll hardly be in the house.

Or at least thats the way I hope it works out.

Plush Pin Invasion

"So if someone asks you: what's that pinned to your bag, how are you going to answer?"

"Uhhh..."

Yes, the pin in question was in fact a "poo pin." Still not quite sure what to tell people.

This weekend I managed not only to go totally broke buying supplies for felt pins, but also to break the scanner.

Also finnished several more pins, the most remarkable being a poo pin with the expression "Dx." I have a yard each of beige, black, purple and yellow-orange felt sitting next to me. The fabric store wouldn't sell it in smaller quantities ;_;

I start volunteer "work" tommorow, meaning that I have to wake up early to do office work in order to boost my resume. Joy.

Debating on whether or not I should bring a huge bag of felt and sewing supplies with me, but I'll probably be pretty busy without having to lug all of that back and forth. Also, I probably have better things to do with my time if I think about it.

At least the commute is shorter then Berkeley by more then an hour :)

Pigged out Macbook

piggy macbook slip

I finally finnished the piggy macbook cover/case today, there are several pictures on my photobucket linked up top. I used most of the pink fluffy material I had, I'll have to go buy some more if I want to make more cases/bags. By the way, the image above is of my PowerBook in the case, as I can't take a picture with the MB when its in the piggy :D

Anyways, I sort of figured out how a sewing machine works, I got a lot of help from a friend of family, so at least the seams are straight even if the sewing isn't nearly as neat as I would like.

I'm thinking about making a case/cover for my powerbook, maybe a kitty or a bear. That is if I don't get any orders to work on before that ^_^

I just noticed that this matches the case pretty well, maybe my brother won't mind me abducting his macbook for a bit...His laptop + pin + the pink case = adorablee!

Making Samples

Every time I make a ploosh pin, someone comes along and I either give it away or sell it. This summer I'm setting a couple goals: make one of every single pin that I have a pattern for, so I'll have samples to show; finish laptop sleeve orders (eek) and finish make pins from the ideas list that so many people have contributed to.

That said, I'm not actually sure I'll finish since all this has been sort of supposed to be done/worked on for a while. Even so, I've still found time to make a new little lion plush pin and redo the baby beluga whale that people keep taking.
