Rush

It's funny when you sit there for over an hour waiting for someone to come online just so you can talk to them and something concerning then comes up, you forget all about yourself and go and just try to help them instead... someone always has it worse, I get it now...

-insert corny title here-

Pretending you're a pillow is never good enough... yet when I see you it never lasts long enough. What do I want? Am I really that selfish? Am I really willing to throw everything away just... for... you? No... that can't be it, it must be just a phase. I haven't been really taking care of myself lately, I've been going out too much, getting as little as 5 hours of sleep each night, and, as to say, not really doing my history homework. I'm a freshman, I know, that's supposed to be really bad, but I just don't ever feel like doing it. It's just not intriguing like I thought history used to be. So yeah... I'm coughing every few seconds now, this room is amazingly hot, and well, I almost fall asleep in my classes everyday.... something is wrong with me.

Update

::strangles Scheme:: .... pisses me off more than Java. There's so much stuff you can do in Java too :'(

Oh yeah... uhhh, in other newssss switched out of Japanese 2 and into Art Spectrum, which is just a fancy name for an intro to art class. Had to switch my Biology classes from B to C, which sucks 'cause a lot of my friends are in it. Oh well, let's just see what they have in store for me :P Oh, and to the people who told me high school sucks so many times, I'll just have to prove you wrong by enjoying myself for the next 4 years xD I have a new personal goal! hahahahaha

??

We got chairs for orchestra today. Figured I'm in the back :P Oh well. I met someone really nice today, she's not my stand partner, she's the other person on the left (I'm playing inside). Anyways, it turns out she's a sophomore who also moved here from Menlo Park in her freshman year. We talked for like, all of orchestra xD Turns out we have a lot of things in common. So uh yeah... onto another topic

I played tennis again today since like a billion gazillion years, actually just a bit over a year now. :P Anyways, I FAIL at tennis now. Attempted to slice a ball and I lobbed it just high enough for my friend to smash it. At least I can still serve O_o I found out that volleying everything actually works :O umm school's fine, I guess? iunno haha

Welllll after like three months I finally sent my MacBook in. I also lost my cell phone, which means I have to use one of my old phones with a billion scratches on it (SIM card was free, courtesy of AT&T. I got iPod speakers today, and an USB to Ethernet adapter, and also also an 8GB USB and noise cancelling headphones... Everyhing was on discount/rebate available. With my birthday coming up, I'm not really excited for anything. In fact, I'm not feeling much these days...

Wtf?

Mmm got my Comp Sci test back today. The test was only 4 problems, which means I got a C if I failed only one... which I did. My teacher gave this talk where he said that as long as you learn in the class he would be happy. Grades don't really matter, and then he bashed on why the 90-80-70-60-0 system is used in US. So the point he was basically trying to make was that you're suppose to come to class wanting to learn, not wanting to get a good grade. He also talked about how UC Berkeley is not for everyone and prestige doesn't really mean anything xD Also talked about how UCSD is really great for other things, basically just saying that college isn't about getting into Ivy Leagues and stuff like that.

Talked to my counselor about getting credit for ATDP. She gave me a 5 minute lecture about how colleges only look at your transcript to see what you've done at your high school, not at a bunch of other places. Also saying that summer school is only for people who have D's and F's during school and you shouldn't take any class that is already offered there. Then going on about how college's look at people who try to jump ahead suspiciously, and that Gunn already offers enough rigor for the students to have an excellent education. All this happens while I nod and say thank you a couple of times even though I'm cursing in my head and criticizing everything they say. Blech, whatever.

Mmmm got my ATDP grades & SAT 9 scores today. I got a frickin' B in Japanese 1. Even though I got an F in the homework section, it's no excuse to get a B =/ A+ in Java though :O even though I already knew that haha. SAT 9's are pretty terrible. 6 away from Advanced for Geometry... blech. 100% in Science though. It's amazing, I didn't even know I could get everything. Ugh.. makes me wonder if I really should go into computer science... I can still change my mind now.
