To show Mom...
this thing ain't broken, I'm going to make a new post right now. I had complications with my laptop for awhile and I've been swamped the last several weeks with work (this week is no different). However, that doesn't mean I haven't written elsewhere. Just not for the public's viewing pleasure. =P
While I'm on here though, I guess I might as well write something substantial. As it's my senior year at UCSD, talk of graduation and post-college plans abound. Here's what I'll be up to (or planning anyways):
- Not graduating in June, but will walk during commencement
- Staying in SD all summer for school
- Depending on which classes are offered, I will officially graduate either in the fall or winter of next school year
- Will continue to take more classes at a community college, specifically EMTcourses, and pre-reqs for grad school
- Plan on volunteering at the hospital, and hopefully find work/internship
- If EMT works out, that's what I'll be doing before applying to grad school
- Studying for/taking GREs
- Plan on staying in SD for at least a year to complete bachelor's and give time to look for source of income
- If I can't get a job, I will probably move back to Bay Area
- Most of the above can be done in either SD or Bay Area, so still deciding what might be best (sticking with LBC in SD, possibility of sister coming down, but would be cheaper and more stable living with parents, EBCB is there)
- Grad school plan is to aim for physician assistant; looking at four schools in California and a few out-of-state
Well, that's the plan. We'll see how it goes. What are you up to nowadays?
